Ten Things You Can Do with Your Goals

Goals are something that I love to work on whenever I can.

Perhaps it is just part of my DNA or maybe it is a learned behavior.

All I know is that there are unlimited things we can do with goals if we choose an open mindset. But listing “unlimited” will take me forever so let’s focus on ten.

  1. You can BUILD goals: When we create goals, we are in charge of creating something that we own. It’s original. It’s ours.
  2. You can LOVE your goals: When we own a goal, we are choosing to have a relationship with this goal. Make it a relationship you love.
  3. You can LIKE your goals: Maybe “loving” the goal is not doable so give “like” a try.
  4. You can DISLIKE your goals: Remember, it’s your goal and you’re in charge, so if you don’t like or love your goal, will “disliking” it work for you?
  5. You can AVOID your goals: As the CEO of your world of goals, you can lock yourself up and stay away from these goals.
  6. You can SUPPORT your goals: The person in charge of your goals is you, which means you can choose how you will commit resources to help move this process along.
  7. You can CONNECT your goals: Did you know that you also get the option of aligning your goals with people, values or beliefs? Yes, you get that benefit too.
  8. You can CHANGE your goals: If you have ever said, “if I were in charge, I would do (fill in the blank) my way. Well now you are in charge, so you have the power to change your goals.
  9. You can MONITOR your goals: Give your goals a check up to track the status of their health.
  10. You can FINISH your goals: When the goal is complete is up to you. Yes, life can throw situations in the mix that may impact our progress, but remember #8, you can change the goal so that you can finish it.

Now maybe you are not as interested as I am in change or in setting goals. And maybe this list of ten isn’t resonating with you; that’s okay.

My hope is that in some way I made you think of something goal related to help move the needle when you’re ready.

And as always …

Thank you for visiting my blog!
